The Star Wars Darth Vader Kyber Core electronic lightsaber from Hasbro is a Lightsaber Forge role-play toy with an extendable red blade, light and sound effects, and a glowing translucent core. In addition, its Darth Vader-inspired design lets children assemble their own lightsaber and imagine galactic adventures from age 4.
What makes the Darth Vader Kyber Core lightsaber different?
- Extendable red blade: opens for pretend-play scenes and lights up during play.
- Electronic lights and sounds: bring atmosphere to adventures inspired by Star Wars.
- Glowing translucent Kyber Core: a distinctive visual feature inspired by the crystals found in the Star Wars universe.
- Four-part assembly: children can put together the blade, cap, cover and core before their adventure begins.
- Lightsaber Forge compatibility: parts can be mixed with those from other lightsabers in the range, sold separately.
Build the lightsaber and create a Star Wars adventure
The adventure starts with assembly. Rather than receiving only a ready-made toy, children can identify the four included components and put them together to create a lightsaber inspired by Darth Vader. Moreover, the translucent core is a distinctive feature of the Kyber Core version, adding another point of interest when the lights are switched on.
Next, the extendable red blade helps turn an idea into a scene. For example, children might imagine Darth Vader arriving aboard a starship, preparing a mission for the Galactic Empire, or meeting a Jedi. In turn, the light and sound effects accompany these stories, while the design calls to mind one of the most recognisable characters in the Star Wars saga.
In addition, play can continue with other Lightsaber Forge pieces. If compatible lightsabers are already available at home, children can try different combinations and build their own designs. However, additional lightsabers are not included. Finally, when playing together, everyone can invent a character or a mission, always using the toy carefully and without physical contact.
Who is this Darth Vader electronic lightsaber for?
Recommended for ages 4 and up, this toy suits children who enjoy characters, costumes, space adventures and imaginative role-play. It may also appeal to Star Wars fans who appreciate details associated with Darth Vader. Therefore, it makes a thoughtful gift option for anyone looking for a role-play toy with straightforward assembly and electronic effects.
