Shunosaurus, meaning "lizard of Shu", is a genus of sauropod dinosaur from the Late Jurassic. He lived in China, more precisely in the Sujuão Province, approximately 159 million years ago. The name derives from "Shu", the old nomenclature of the Province of Sujuão.
