Famous for its long tail, the Ring-tailed Lemur is a primate found exclusively on the island of Madagascar. It has triangular ears, a long snout, large eyes and displays a characteristic black “mask” around its eyes. Like other lemur species, the Ring-tailed lemurs are female dominant, meaning their social groups are controlled by a hierarchy of females.
