First of all, Play-Doh Bluey Fun Dress-Up is a Hasbro modelling compound set inspired by the Bluey series. The character stamps, modelling tools and 11 pots of Play-Doh compound invite children to create Bluey and Bingo, come up with costumes and turn a craft activity into a story full of possibilities.
Costumes take shape in little hands with Play-Doh Bluey Fun Dress-Up
- Characters to model: the special stamps let children shape Bluey and her sister Bingo, the stars of every new adventure.
- Costumes to choose from: five costume stamps help create clothes and accessories, from princess outfits to explorer ideas.
- Details that change the scene: eyes, hats and other elements can be added to the modelling compound figures.
- Tools to experiment with: the rolling pin and plastic knife let children roll out, cut and combine portions of compound.
- Eleven pots of Play-Doh: the different colours invite children to vary their creations and start again whenever another idea strikes.
Play inspired by Bluey's adventures
First, simply choose a colour, put the compound in the stamp and shape Bluey or Bingo. Next comes the costume fun. With a hat, an item of clothing or a little accessory, children can transform the character and create a new story without having to recreate scenes from the cartoon.
For example, one day the two sisters might get ready for an exploring adventure; another day, they could dress up as princesses or recreate the funny characters Janet and Rita. There is even a stamp inspired by the series' magic xylophone. Each item can therefore be a starting point for imagining different situations, mixing colours, shapes and accessories however the children like.
Then, using the rolling pin, plastic knife and moulds, children can take apart a creation and try a different combination. Play can also be shared: one person chooses the costumes while another makes up what happens next. This way, the set inspires ever-changing stories without relying on a single finished result.
For children who love modelling and imagining
Recommended by Hasbro for ages 3 and up, this set is especially appealing to Bluey and Bingo fans who enjoy modelling compound and creative activities. It could be just the thing for an afternoon with the family, a playdate with friends or a special occasion. It also makes a birthday gift idea for children who enjoy creating characters with their own hands.
