Rubber Figure - Manta Ray

The giant ray or manta ray (Manta birostris) is a variety of ray, from the same group as sharks. It is very common to confuse the name “manta ray” and use it in reference to all species of rays, although in fact it should only apply to the giant manta. The largest of the rays, the manta can reach a wingspan of 8.4 meters and weigh around 1,400 kilos.
