The Reventón is Lamborghini's exclusive model, having been launched in 2007. Its top speed was recorded in Dubai, reaching 338 km/h (222 mph). At the launch, Lamborghini declared that only 20 Reventóns would be sold to the public. Each Reventón has its production number marked in a sequence of up to 20 between the driver and passenger seats. Although the exterior is new, almost all the mechanical elements (including the engine) were taken from the Murciélago Lp640.
