Believe it or not, the beaver is actually a rodent. Composed of two different species, the North American beaver and the Eurasian beaver, this incisor-toothed mammal can be found throughout Canada and the continental United States, as well as in some parts of Europe and Asia. for their natural ability to build dikes in rivers and streams, which are their homes, thus creating dams that block the water flow.
