The Baryonyx (Baryonyx walkeri, from Latin "heavy claw") was a species of carnivorous, semi-bipedal dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous period. It measured about 9 metres in length, 3 metres in height, and weighed around 1.5 tonnes.
