Wolves is a pack-building strategy game for 2-5 players. Survival of the fittest is the game’s premise as you compete to build the largest and most dominant pack by claiming territory, recruiting lone wolves and hunting prey. But be careful not to expand too recklessly into terrain where your rivals thrive – as this could attract members of your pack! A clever action selection mechanism guides your choices. Each action requires you to flip over the terrain tiles where you wish to take your action. These double-sided tiles mean that the actions you take this turn will determine the types of terrain you can act on next turn.

As you take action to expand your pack’s control in each region, you’ll also improve your pack’s attributes, allowing you to take increasingly aggressive actions as the game progresses. There are three scoring phases mid-game, where power in each region is calculated. But in the end, there are many more factors to consider to determine who is the strongest!
