Flying squirrel

This squirrel is nocturnal, having large and well-developed eyes for that purpose. Flying squirrels also have a very characteristic anatomy, with a membrane in the skin that runs along their body, connecting the front legs to the hind legs, allowing them to glide from one tree to another, directing the flight with the help of the flattened tail that acts as a rudder.
